Clinical application of artificial oocyte activation in ICSI cycles with previous fertilization failure
摘要
Abstract
In the field of assisted reproductive technology,artifical oocyte activation (AOA)is an important treatment method in ICSI cycle with previous low fertilization rate or total fertilization failure due to oocyte activation failure caused by sperm deficiency.Several methods of AOA including mechanical stimulation,electrical stimulation and chemical activation have been reported.However,it is difficult to assess the clinical efficacy and safety of ICSI with AOA compared with conventional ICSI in the couples of previous fertilization failure.The present article reviews the clinical practice of AOA in ICSI cycle with previous fertilization failure,the mechanism of oocyte activation,and the influent factors of ICSI fertilization failure,as well as AOA methods and the efficacy and safety of AOA,in order to explore the current problems of the clinical practice of AOA and better serve clinical application.关键词
