Investigation of the Current Situation of Medical Ventilator Among Different Levels of Hospitals in Liaoning Province
摘要
Abstract
Objective To describe the allocation and distribution of medical ventilators among different level hospitals in Liaoning province, and to provide the basic information for related units in the chain of industry-university-research-medicine-application. Methods We investigated 585 different levels of hospitals in Liaoning province through self-administered questionnaire. Results The allocated proportions of primary, second and tertiary hospitals in Liaoning province were 5.31%, 47.19% and 100%, separately. On average, 0.06, 1.45 and 7.82 medical ventilator per hospital allocated in each of three classes hospitals separately. The allocated proportions and average were 26.09% and 1.79 per hospital in urban area, and those were 15.56% and 0.38 per hospital in rural area. There were significant differences of the proportion and average among three classes of hospitals and between rural and urban hospitals. The market of medical ventilators was occupied by imported products, which accounted for 84.02% for all medical ventilators. All the ventilators for infant and newborns were imported products with higher unit price which was 1.5 times than domestic products. Conclusion The allocation of medical ventilator in hospitals in Liaoning province is not enough, especially in the primary hospitals. To push up the numbers of first-aid medical equipment in primary hospitals, the hospitals should increase the number of primary emergency medical equipment, and the domestic enterprise should focus on increasing the market share of domestic medical equipment.关键词
