泡沫铝填充钢铝复合管的静态压缩和吸能特性研究
Investigation of compression capability and energy absorption of aluminum foam-filled steel/Al clad tube
摘要
Abstract
A new aluminum foam-filled steel/Al clad tube (Al-FFCT for short) is presented in this paper.The compress and impact process are simulated on platform of ABAQUS with Crushable-foam constitutive model for porous foam material.From the simulation results,the influence of cladding structure on the compression capability and energy absorption of Al-FFCT is discussed.It shows that the Al-FFCT not only has the advantage of utility,buffer and lightweight structure of aluminum foam-filled aluminum tube,but also has the good quality of aluminum foam-filled steel tube that is the smaller displacement of maximum compression and the higher impact energy absorption.And the flexible customization and enhancing performance of compression performance and energy absorption properties can be realized by changing the thickness ratio of steel/Al clad tube.Compression test is carried out and the experimental results are coincident with numerical simulation results.It provides a new approach to design the buffer structure such as vehicle bumper.关键词
