摘要

Abstract

Due to the constrains of achievable speed operation range and slow tracking dynamics of generator rotor,the variable speed constant frequency wind turbines is not able to keep working on optimal tip speed ratio from cut-in wind speed all the way to rated wind speed.This paper deduced the character of optimal pitch angle,and the coordinated torque-pitch control strategy is proposed to let wind turbine operates on the possible local optimal working point when the tip speed ratio deviates from its optimal value,thus improve the power production.Meanwhile,the global optimum pitch angle self-tuning algorithm is proposed to rectify the installation error of the blades;a dynamic wind speed compensation method is proposed to estimate the immeasurable effective wind speed.The validity of coordinated control is verified with RTDS & Bladed co-simulation platform;then the long time simulation with measured wind speed profile is carried out to further evaluate the promotion of power production.The results show that the proposed method can improve the power production effectively.
