摘要

Abstract

Mineral reinforcing materials have a significant impact on the performance of friction material.In this paper,the composition,structure,physical and chemical properties of sepiolite,wollastonite,brucite,amphibole asbestos and serpentine asbestos are reviewed.The effect of chemical composition,crystal structure of mineral on crystal morphology,technical characters and working efficiency were analyzed.Function and mechanism of reinforcing minerals in friction product are summarized.The advantages and disadvantages of mineral reinforcing materials and some questions and developing direction are discussed.
