Pharmaceutical Care for One Patient with Drug-induced Liver Failure Complicated with Pulmonary Infection by Clinical Pharmacists

Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the pharmaceutical care for patients with drug-induced liver failure complicated with pulmonary infection by clinical pharmacists, so as to improve rational use of drugs in clinic. METHODS: By participating into the whole process of treatment for one patient with drug-induced liver failure complicated with pulmonary infection, the clinical pharmacists provided pharmaceutical care in terms of antibiotics, protective liver drugs and the relative symptomatic treatment drugs. RESULTS: The clinical pharmacists played an active role in the pharmaceutical care for various treatment drugs, which improved the treatment effects and reduced the incidence of adverse drug reactions. And the patient was discharged with a better health condition. CONCLUSIONS:The clinical pharmacists go into the clinic and strengthen the pharmaceutical care can improve the treatment safety and compliance with medications of patients, and promote the rational drug use in clinic.关键词
