Diagnosis of Early Gastric Carcinoma using Dynamic Enhanced Multi-detector Computed Tomography with Hypotonic Air Molding

Abstract
Objective To explore the diagnostic value of dynamic enhanced multi-detector computed tomog-raphy for early gastric carcinoma with hypotonic air molding. Methods Sixty cases suspected of early gastric carcinoma underwent dynamic enhanced multi-detector computed tomography after hypotonic air molding of stomach. Original images were reconstructed and the diagnosis was compared to pathology. Results Thirty cases of early gastric carcinoma were determined by pathology. The tiny lesion of gastric mucosa was showed clearly under dynamic enhanced multi-detector computed tomography after hypotonic air molding. Diagnostic ac-curacy of CT was 70.0%, sensitivity was 66.7%, specificity was 73.3%, positive predictive value was 71.4%, neg-ative predictive value was 68.8% and relevance ratio of early gastric carcinoma was 66.7%. Conclusion Dy-namic enhanced multi-detector computed tomography after hypotonic air molding can show the tiny lesion of gas-tric mucosa clearly and thus it shows important value for the diagnosis of early gastric carcinoma.关键词
