加减橘核丸联合迈之灵治疗慢性附睾炎
Clinical Research of JuHe Decoction Combined with Aescuvenforte Tablets in Treatment of Chronic Ep-ididymitis

Abstract
Objective To investigate the curative effect of JuHe Decoction combined with Aescuvenforte Tablets in the treatment of chronic epididymitis. Methods Eighty-one cases of chronic epididymitis were se-lected and assigned randomly into control group (33 cases) and treatment group (48 cases). The control group re-ceived levofloxacin treatment. Meanwhile, the treatment group received JuHe Decoction combined with Aescuven-forte Tablets. Before and after 4 weeks of treatment, the scores of Chronic Epididymitis Symptom Index (CESI), quality of life, CESI total scores were detected. And the clinical efficiency was calculated. Results Compared with pretherapy, all the scores were decreased in the control group after 4 weeks, including the scores of CESI pain (7.79±1.73, 5.52±1.15), quality of life(7.97±1.76,6.55±1.23), total scores(15.36±3.41, 12.06±2.18). And the CESI total scores had a statistics difference compared to pre-treatment (P<0.05). While the scores after 4 weeks in the treatment group were remarkably lower than the pretherapy, including the pain scores of CESI (7.60 ± 1.47,3.31 ± 2.02), quality of life scores (8.13 ± 1.44,3.94 ± 2.50), CESI total scores(15.73 ± 2.65,7.25 ± 4.39). The effectiveness in treatment group was better than that in the control group (P<0.05). Besides, the ex-cellence rate (70.83%) and total efficiency (87.5%) of the treatment group were better than the excellence rate (18.18%) and total efficiency (52%) of control group (P<0.05). Conclusion JuHe Decoction combined with Aescuvenforte Tablets shows significant efficacy on chronic epididymitis.关键词
