Abstract
Objective To compare the effects of three types of urinary diversion on radical cystectomy of bladder cancer. Methods The data of 100 patients with confirmed invasive bladder cancer who needed to un-dergo radical cystectomy were retrospectively analyzed, including 45 cases undergoing ileal conduit (group A), 18 cases undergoing orthotopic ileal neobladder (group B) and 37 cases undergoing cutaneous ureterostomy (group C). The curative effect and complications were compared among groups. Results The duration of opera-tion, intraoperative blood loss, intestinal function recovery and length of stay in group B were (263.1±28.9) min, (516.4 ± 99.4) mL,(36.46 ± 6.94) h and (41.25 ± 2.58) d respectively, which were worse than those in group A [(243.1 ± 36.8) min,(453.4 ± 98.1) mL,(32.54 ± 5.58) h and (35.51 ± 3.24) d, respectively], as well as group C [(203.5 ± 29.5) min,(301.2 ± 82.4) mL,(24.34 ± 5.16) h and (28.35 ± 3.18) d]. However, the total incidence rates of complication in group A, group B and group C were 42.22%, 33.33% and 29.72%, respectively (P>0.05), and there was no significant difference in quality of life (P>0.05). The scores of body, function and emotional state in group B were significantly higher than those in group A and group C (P<0.05). Conclusion The cutane-ous ureterostomy, ileal conduit and orthotopic ileal neobladder are effective with similar quality of life. Because the complications of the three methods are different, the appropriate operation should be choiced according to the condition of patients.关键词
