摘要

Abstract

Because the gas-insulated transmission line(GIL)has such advantages as large transmission capacity,small power loss,high reliability and reasonable whole-life transmission cost,it can be utilized to substitute part of overhead line in special environment such as the high drop area,tunnels or connections between new remote generation areas and the load centers.One of the main reasons that restrict the extensive application of DC GIL is the pollution of free metallic particles,therefore it is of great necessity to grasp the motion and discharge characteristics of free metallic particles in GIL.In this paper,previous research on motion and discharge of wire metallic particles are investigated,which could serve as reference for practical engineering and academic research.Firstly,the force analysis and calculation of lift-off voltage of wire metallic particle are introduced.The possible motion patterns of wire metallic parti cles are summarized and attention is also paid to cases with axial non-uniform electric field.The corona discharge characteristics are analyzed.In addition,the influencing rules of wire particles on the breakdown of SF6 gas gap are revealed.
