摘要

Abstract

Silicon nano-needle arrays antimicrobial material with high bactericidal properties were prepared by simple and economical metal-assisted chemical etching and its morphology and structure were studied.The antibacterial properties of silicon nanoneedle arrays were investigated by the viability of Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus.The bactericidal efficiencies of the antimicrobial materials on Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus were 85.12% and 76.40%,respectively,indicating that the materials had high bactericidal effects against both tested Gram-positive and Gram negative bacteria.This fabricated antimicrobial material was expected to provide a solution for the medical and health care system against bacterial pollution.
