摘要

Abstract

The two-dimensional axial symmetric model of Nitrile rubber X-ring seal with PTFE backup ring structure used in hydraulic servo system was created by using the ANSYS software.Thesealing mechanism and sealing performance of the static pressure working state and reciprocating motion state were analyzed,and the specific location of the failure of the sealing X-ringwas predicted.The results showed that the stress concentration phenomenon of the sealing X-ring can be effectively eased with backup ring structure under the condition of high pressure which means medium pressure larger than 10 Mpa.The areaof convex of the sealing X-ring in the side withoutpressure which contact with the backup ring prone to wear,and the concavity of the sealing X-ring near to the piston rod is easy to tear off.
