Abstract

A new method for detecting imibenconazole in fat-containing foods (walnut, peanut oil and red chilli powder) using gas chromatograph coupled with dispersive solid-phase extraction was developed. Imibenconazole in samples were extracted by acetonitrile and purified by PSA and C18. it was then qualitatively and quantitatively determined by GC with matrix standard curve-external standard method. The results showed that the good linearity has been achieved between chromatographic peak and concentration of imibenconazole in the range of 0.005-10 mg/L, the correlation coefficientr was greater than 0.99, and the limit of quantification (LOQ) was 0.05 mg/kg. At spiked levels of 0.05, 0.1, and 1 mg/kg, recoveries of imibenconazole in walnut, peanut oil and red chilli powder were 82%-107% and relative standard deviations were 3.0%-6.3%. Therefore, this method is suitable for the determination of imibenconazole in fat-containing foods.
