Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical effects of Tianmai Xiaoke tablets in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus with coronary heart disease after PCI.Methods:Eighty-six patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with coronary heart disease after PCI were divided into the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)group and control group.Both groups were treated with routine western medicine and TCM group were additionally treated with Tianmai Xiaoke tablets.Fluctuationof blood glucose,lipid metabolism before and after treatment,daily insulin dose and prognosis of the two groups were observed.Results:There were no significant differences in blood glucose and blood lipids indexes and daily insulin dose between the two groups before treatment(P> 0.05).After the treat-ment,FPG,P2hBG,HbA1c,TG,TC and LDL-C were decreased significantly while HDL-C was increased signifi-cantly,and the changes were more significant in TCM group than the control group(P< 0.05).The incidence of MACE in 1 year was significantly lower in TCM group than the control group(P< 0.05).Conclusion:Tianmai Xi-aoke tablets can reduce the daily insulin dose and the incidence of MACE in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with coronary heart disease after PCI by lowering blood glucose and blood lipid levels.关键词
