Influence of Wollastonite with Different Nucleation on Crystallization of Recycled Polypropylene
摘要
Abstract
Wollastonite (Wo) and wollastonite with β-nucleation (β-Wo) were used to prepare wollastonite with different nucleation filled recycled polypropylene (r-PP) composites.The influence of wollastonite with different nucleation on the crystallization behavior,melting characteristics and crystalline morphology of r-PP were studied by means of differential scanning calorimeter,wide angle X-ray diffraction and polarized light microscope,respectively.The results indicate that both Wo andβ-Wo exhibit heterogeneous nucleation,and increase the crystallization temperature of r-PP.Wo filled r-PP composites mainly form α-spherulites,whileβ-Wo can induce the formation of highly birefringentβ-spherulites.Moreover,the heterogeneous nucleation of β-Wo is much stronger than that of Wo.关键词
