Abstract
Objective To study the effects of perindopril on cognitive function and renal function in the patients with hypertension complicated with mild cognitive impairment (MCI).Methods A total of 186 patients with essential hypertension (EH) complicated with MCI to receive treatment in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into a control group and a combination group (n =93,respectively).The control group was treated with levamlodipine and the combination group with levamlodipine + perindopril for six months. The effects between the two groups were compared. Results The overall response rate (ORR) in the combination group (94.62%) was significantly higher than that in the control group (83.87%) (P < 0.05);after the treatment, the blood pressure (BP) in the two groups decreased significantly (P < 0.05);the aggregate scores of the mini mental status examination (MMSE),memory, immediate memory, orientation, language ability, attention and calculative ability were improved remarkably (P < 0.05);the levels of blood urea nitrogen (BUN),serum creatinine (Scr),24 h urine protein in the two groups decreased significantly (P < 0.05);creatinine clearance rate (Ccr) and glomerular filtration rate (GFR) levels increased greatly, while the improvement of them was greater than that in the control group (P < 0.05);the adverse reaction rate in the combination group was 7.53% and that in the control group was 6.45%,showing no statistical difference (P > 0.05).Conclusion Perindopril can significantly improve the effects in the treatment of EH complicated with MCI,improve the cognitive competence and renal function of patients and has high safety.关键词
