摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical application value of physical rehabilitation combined with electric acupuncture in the process of the radiotherapy for the patients with brain or spinal cord metastatic tumor.Methods A total of 56 patients to receive brain or spinal cord metastatic tumor radiotherapy were selected and divided into a radiotherapy group (n=20) and a combination group (n =36).The radiotherapy group was treated with radiotherapy only and the combination group was additionally treated with physical rehabilitation combined with electric acupuncture for three to six months.The effects,disappearance time of clinical symptoms and signs,activities of daily living (ADL) and movement function scores between the two groups were compared.Results At the end of the treatment,the complete remission rate (CRR) in the combination group (38.39％) was significantly higher than that in the radiotherapy group(20.0％)(P ＜ 0.05);the no-remission rate in the radiotherapy group (30.00％) was much higher than that in the combination group (8.33％) (P ＜ 0.05);the disappearance time of various symptoms and signs in the combination group was much shorter than that in the radiotherapy group (P ＜ 0.05),but the upper limb movement function,lower limb movement function and joint activity function were significantly better than those in the radiotherapy group (P ＜ 0.05);the ADL scores in the combination group (68.6±8.4) were much higher than those in the radiotherapy group (52.2 ±6.3)(P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Physical rehabilitation combined with electric acupuncture can improve the effects of the radiotherapy for the patients with brain or spinal cord metastatic tumor,shorten the disappearance time of neurological symptoms and signs,enhance the movement functions and improve the ADL of patients.关键词
