Cementum and its relationship with oral disease
摘要
Abstract
Periodontal disease is the major cause of tooth loss in adults,causing lesions at the surface of cementum of root,periodontal attachment loss,destroying the connection of teeth and periodontium and eventually leading to tooth loss.Besides removing plaque and calculus and controlling inflammation,it is very important to restore a new attachment.Cementum plays an important role during this restoration.Therefore,a study of cementum is valuable.This article will discuss the role and significance of cementum in oral diseases.关键词
