摘要

Abstract

Zn-Li battery was a novel secondary battery which used aqueous solution as electrolyte and Zn metal as anode.Compared to conventional Li-ion and lead acid batteries,the Zn-Li battery had a great potential for large-scale energy storage due to its low toxicity,non-flammability,long cycle life and low fabrication cost.Recent progresses of Zn-Li battery in cathode materials,electrolyte and Zn anode,and highlights key technical issues and corresponding solutions in this system were introduced.Future development of such an energy storage system was also reviewed.
