Abstract

To evaluate the dynamic influence of valve hall on ultra-high voltage(UHV) wall bushings and to optimize the seismic performances of wall bushing-valve hall system,we established a finite element model of the UHV wall bushing-valve hall system,and obtained the seismic responses characteristics of the system.Moreover,we established a vibration mechanism model of wall bushing-valve hall system,and studied the influences of different vibration components on wall bushing seismic responses.The results indicate that the valve hall has an amplification effects on the seismic responses of the bushing and the lateral vibration of gable wall of the hall has a remarkable influence on the seismic responses of wall bushing.After the retrofit of valve hall structure,the seismic responses of wall bushing will decrease,and increasing the lateral stiffness of the gable wall can improve the seismic performances of UHV wall bushing-valve hall systems.
