摘要

Abstract

In order to properly analyze the freight volume that changes randomly with time in the process of predicting the traffic demand for container terminal and planning the port transportation system, a model is built to simulate the operation of container harbor by using computer simulating techniques and fully taking main factors affecting port transportation into account on the basis of waterborne and landside operation of container harbor. Peak-hour traffic volume and peak-hour factor are used to study the random time-varying property of container freightage. Plenty of simulation experiments lead to the characteristic of freight changing randomly with time under different scales of container terminal. The research results will provide a reference for the planning of container freightage.
