摘要

Abstract

Based on the principle of lower-bound method of limit analysis, the finite element technique and linear optimum method are combined to work out a program which can be used to solve limit bearing capacity of foundation. The results coming from the above program are compared with the existing calculation results of foundation bearing capacity, which verifies the reasonability and effectiveness of the program. The above method is used to study the influences of the thickness and the internal friction angle of the crust layer on limit bearing capacity subject to the existence of weak underlying stratum in two-layer foundation. This method can serve as a guide for two-layer foundation projects..
