摘要

Abstract

Triaxial CU tests of three clayey soil samples from Tianjin are carried out to analyze the difference of the consolidated undrained triaxial tests (CU) specified in GB standard (GB/T 50123-1999), British standard (BS 1377) and American standard (ASTM). The test results show a little difference of shear strength index of clayey soil among the above three standards, and the shear strength index defined by GB standard is slightly less than that of American standard and British standard.
