Sintering Process of Rapid Setting and Hardening High Belite Calcium Sulfoaluminate Cement Clinker

Abstract
The sintering process of new type rapid setting and hardening high belite sulfoaluminate ( HB-CSA) cement was studied by XRD and TG-DSC.Experimental results reveal that the firing temperature of this new cement is 1250-1350 ℃, namely (1300 ±50) ℃, which shares the same sintering range 100℃as calcium sulfoaluminate ( CSA cement , however , 50 ℃lower than the latter .The decomposition of sulfur increased remarkably as the sintering temperature reached beyond 1250 ℃. Therefore , the sintering temperature of HB-CSA cement clinker shouldn 't be beyond 1350 ℃ to avoid a mass of decomposing of sulfur and C 4 A3 (S), leading to the reduction of mechanical strength .关键词
