Abstract
This paper reviewed progresses in the field of marine forecast and disaster mitigation since the 18th CPC National Congress.During the past 5 years,China has continually improved the institutional mechanisms,as well as enhanced capability of marine observation and monitoring. With the development of global operational oceanographic forecasting system,effective and explicit early warning has been carried out and broadcasted to the public.A series of measures on marine disaster risk reduction have been taken,rich experiences have been accumulated,the capac-ity of flexibly adapting to climate change has been strengthened,and China has kept on actively participating in international marine governance.On this basis,more efforts will be made in the future to improve (1 )the institutional mechanisms of marine disaster forecast and mitigation;(2)decision-making framework on the national level;(3)the business organs and system;(4)the integrated capability of marine environmental protection.关键词
