摘要

Abstract

File format is a triangular mesh model for the CAD surface and the section outline of the cross section presents a multilat-eral shape. It may reduce the accuracy of forming parts. In order to improve the profile quality, NURBS curve, straight line segment and circular arc are used to refit the slice profile. The test result shows that the error of refitting section contour line is reduced by 48.5%than before. This algorithm can be used to effectively improve the accuracy and smoothness of the section profile.
