Influence of emotional nursing combined with acupoint application on quality of life and adverse mood in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at acute exacerbation stage

Abstract
Objective:To probe into the influence of emotional nursing combined with acupoint application on the quality of life and adverse mood in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at acute exacerbation stage.Methods:A total of 88 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease were selected from department of respiration in our hospital from September 2013 to February 2016.The patients were divided into study group and control group by random number table,44 cases in each group.The patients in control group received traditional nursing measures,while the patients in study group were introduced nursing intervention based on emotional strategy combined with acupoint application therapy on the basis of traditional nursing.The self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),self rating Depression Scale(SDS) and brief health status scale(SF-36) were used to assess the mood and quality of life of students in the two groups on the day of admission and the day of discharge.Results:The quality of life score and SAS and SDS scores were not statistically different between the two groups (P＞0.05).The SAS and SDS scores of the patients in study group were lower than those in control group on the day of discharge(P＜0.05),The scores of physiological function,physiological function,social function,mental health and emotional function were higher than those in control group(P＜0.05).Conclusions:Emotional nursing combined with acupoint application therapy could improve the quality of life and alleviate the negative emotion of patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).关键词
