Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression of Forkhead C2 (FOXC2) and matrix metallo proteinase 9 (MMP-9) in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and its clinical significance.Methods The expression of FOXC2 and MMP9 was detected in 70 cases of NSCLC and non-cancerous adjacent tissues by immunohistochemical En Vision method.Results The positive rates of FOXC2 and MMP-9 were significantly higher in cancer tissue than those in non-cancerous adjacent tissues (P＜0.05).The expression of FOXC2 and MMP-9 protein was correlated with clinical stage and lymph node metastasis(P＜0.05).There was a positive correlation between FOXC2 and MMP-9 expression in NSCLC (P＜0.05).Conclusion The expression of FOXC2 and MMP-9 is significantly increased in NSCLC,which is closely correlated with occurrence and malignant development of NSCLC.关键词
