摘要

Abstract

A new conductivity sensor is designed and realized based on the detection mechanism analysis of elec-trode-water system. The structure of the planar electrodesensor combine the rectangular coils with interdigital elec-trodes.An automated test platform was built and AC impedance spectroscopy was adopted to obtain the impedance data of the sensor under the different test solutions and frequencies of excitation signal. Fitting with commercial con-ductivity sensor,the relationship of the detection impedance of planar electrode sensor and actual conductivity of tes-ting sample was found out. The experimental results show the conductivity sensor is a measuring tool with high sen-sitivity and strong stability. It can be compared to commercial conductivity sensors and provide a low-cost solution for conductivity measurement of aqueous solutions.
