Fault-Tolerant Control for the Bearingless Switched Reluctance Motor with One Levitation Winding Short-Circuited

Abstract
In order to improve the reliability ofbearingless switched reluctance motors (BSRMs),the fault-tolerant control of dual-winding BSRM with one levitation winding short-circuited is investigated in this paper.Firstly,according to the mathematical model in the normal mode,the mathematical model of short-circuit current is derived and further fault-tolerant mathematical model is also deduced.The proposed model is verified by the finite element (FE) method.Secondly,the compensation strategy of levitation forces is developed based on the fault-tolerant mathematical model and is verified by the FE analysis and Matlab/Simulink simulation.Finally,experimental results are provided to demonstrate the proposed performance.关键词
