Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of modified joint mobilization combined with needle knife on nerve conduction velocity and quality of life in patients with nerve-root cervical spondylosis. Methods 68 patients with nerve-root cervical spondylosis in Veteran Rehabilitation Hospital of Henan Province from September 2014 to December 2016 were randomly divided into 2 groups(each 34 cases). The control group was treated with traditional massage combined with needle knife, and the study group was treated with modified joint mobilization method on the basis of the control group. The two groups were treated for 15d.Compare the clinical efficacy, nerve conduction velocity [sensory nerve conduction velocity (SNCV),motor nerve conduction velocity (MNCV)]and quality of life (SF-36) scores between the two groups. Results The effective rate of the treatment of the study group was 97.06% (33/34),higher than that of the control group 67.65% (23/34),and the difference was significant (P<0.05).After 1 month treatment, the median, ulnar and radial nerve SNCV and MNCV in the study group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05).After 1 month treatment, the scores of somatic pain, mental status, emotional function, health status and physiological function in the study group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Modified joint mobilization combined with needle knife treatment on nerve-root cervical spondylosis is effective, and it can improve the nerve conduction velocity and improve the quality of life.关键词
