Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of drug combination of sodium valproate and levetiracetam on children epilepsy.Methods We randomly assigned 92 cases of children epilepsy to two groups:control group and experiment group.The control group was treated with sodium valproate and topiramate,and the experiment group was treated with sodium valproate and levetiracetam.Results The effective rate of the experiment group was 93.5％,which was higher than the control group.Before the treatment,the two groups had similar calcium and phosphate levels in serum (P ＞ 0.05).After the treatment,the experiment group showed significantly lower levels of serum calcium (2.07 mmol/L±0.18 mmol/L) and phosphate (1.21 mmol/L± 0.15 mmol/L) than those of control group (calcium 2.31 mmol/L±0.36 mmol/L and phosphate 1.45 mmol/L±0.36 mmol/L).Conclusion Drug combination of sodium valproate and levetiracetam has significant therapeutic effects on children epilepsy.The minor side effects of such treatment can be alleviated after symptomatic treatment.关键词
