InP/InGaAs探测器对伪装目标成像研究
Camouflage Recognition Study by InP/InGaAs Short Wavelength Infrared Detectors
摘要
Abstract
The wide spectrum of InGaAs detectors can extend the response wavelength from the short wavelength to visible light through special material design and processing. Given the visible/SWIR dual band detection, wide spectrum InGaAs detectors greatly enriched the amount of information about the target and improved the target recognition rate. A wide variety of camouflage recognition imaging experiments were performed with an InGaAs camera and a visible/short wavelength optical filter. The images in both short wavelength and visible light bands were then analyzed. It can be summarized from these experiments that the short wavelength can penetrate a certain thickness of plastic, silica gel, and skin. Absorption selectivity was determined for some objects with same color but made from different materials like pigment and dye in the short wavelength range. In addition, targets were chosen to measure the reflectivity and transmittance. The targets exhibited a camouflage effect in the visible light band and no camouflage in the short wavelength range. These measurement results help to understand the camouflage recognition characteristics of InGaAs short wavelength infrared detectors.关键词
