Design and implementation of KDE and KML based dynamic visualization of oil spill forecast

Abstract
Aiming at the problems of existing oil spill forecast visualization products,a dynamic presentation method of oil spill numerical forecast products has been proposed based on kernel density and KML,and two key points of this method,kernel density mapping and KML structural design,have been described in details.In this paper,KML files and the related thematic information have been automatically generated by programming modules,and the results have also been displayed as an example by taking Google Earth as the platform.Practice proves that,with the abundant geographic information and "time axis" technology provided by Google Earth,the method proposed displays the oil spill forecast information accurately,conveniently and beautifully on a responsive and stable platform,which makes it have certain operational application value.关键词
