The Effect of Trade Credit on Supply Chain Decision under Two Competitive Suppliers Environment

Abstract
In traditional Bertrand model,we've got to know that if two competitors have the same marginal cost and their goods are homogeneous,they two will compete by decreasing price.After many rounds of games,they will both set the selling price at their marginal cost and none of them can seize profit from the trade.We consider a game model between two competitive suppliers and one capital constrained retailer.The retailer faces uncertain demand,so we base on the newsvendor model to discuss the game and try to find out the influence of trade credit on the competitive relationship.Our research showed that if one supplier provides trade credit,the three subjects can achieve a balance which is above the marginal cost so that two suppliers can both get a higher profit than before.关键词
