Abstract
A novel frame aggregation algorithm based on proportional integral derivative (PID) controller is proposed for the statistical delay guaranteeing in high-speed IEEE 802.11 wireless local area network(WLAN). By constructing the effective capacity model,the aggregation algorithm doesn′t need to consider any information of the channel,and uses the average queue level measurement to realize the QoS statistics delay guaranteeing. The proposed PID controller is used for the access point to de-termine the time limit value of each link,which is allocated by the frame aggregation algorithm. The simulation results show that the aggregation algorithm based on PID is better than the earliest deadline priority service algorithm based on maximum aggrega-tion size and the aggregation algorithm based on deadline,and can improve the utilization rate of the channel and increase the maximum quantity of wireless sites.关键词
