Dynamic Model Establishment and Analysis on Gas-solid Flow in CFB Whole Loop

Abstract
Variable conditions such as start-up, shutdown, varying load and sudden accident processes may cause variable changes to the working processes of circulating fluidized bed (CFB) boilers. To guarantee the efficiency and control the pollutant emission, it is necessary to establish mathematic models of CFB system by analyzing how the CFB boilers work, so as to study and predict their operating characteristics, which will guide the design and operation of CFB boilers. A dynamic model of gas-solid flow in CFB whole loop was established, which was based on the mass balance in different units and the pressure balance in the circulation loop. The inventory fluctuation in the cyclone and feedback unit, as well as the particle attrition were considered in the dynamic model. Besides, the CFB boiler start-up and fan failure processes were studied with the model. The computational results show that physical parameters like the solids inventory, particle size distribution and circulation flow rate in different units are all reasonably reflected in this model.关键词
