Abstract
A visual hot test platform was built up to investigate the flow characteristics of working fluid and the vertical flow pressure drop of two-phase flow in the water drum of the vacuum boiler. The mass void fraction of vapor was measured through the method of pressure drop. Different pressure drop was calculated and analyzed with the help of the mass void fraction of the vapor. Results show that the instability of working fluid flow in the vacuum boiler with separated shells is attributable to heat load maldistribution in water drum, steam pressure fluctuation in steam drum, which also leads to sub-cooled boiling, and internal pressure difference of the working fluid. The gravity pressure drop is the majority of the vertical two-phase flow pressure drop in water drum, which is almost 50~100 times more than the others. The internal pressure drop of two-phase flow, mass void fraction, circulation mass flow and heat transfer coefficient are interactional as well inseparable. Optimization advices for vacuum hot water boiler with separated shell spaces were proposed on the basis of experimental results and theoretical analysis.关键词
