Abstract
Objective To study the clinical effects of polytetrafluoroethylene and autologous cartilage combined application on Binder syndrome correction treatment. Methods In 12 cases of Binder syndrome patients with autologous costal cartilage and ear cartilage to correct nasal tip, low nasal dorsum and nasal columella short deformity. Correction of midfacial retrusion with polytetrafluoroethylene. Results All surgery incisions were primary healing. The midfacial retrusion was repaired effectively. The overall shape, corrected profiles prolonged length of nasal columella fulfilled patients requirements. The patients were followed up for 3-12 months, no inflammation reaction and consequential complications were observed. All patients were satisfied with their surgery effects. Conclusion Binder syndrome patients with no severe occlusal deformities, the correction treatment of combined polytetrafluroethylene with autologous cartilage could reach satisfied results, it also reduce risk of surgery related complications.关键词
