24 Reports of Severe Adverse Drug Reactions

Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the incidence of severe adverse drug reactions ( ADR) in Anhui Provincial Cancer Hospital ( hereinafter referred to as "this hospital") .METHODS:367 reports of ADR during 2013-2016 were collected, analysis was conducted on 24 cases of severe ADR in terms of patients ' genders and ages , administration routes, species of drugs inducing ADR , involved organs and ( or) systems and its clinical features .RESULTS:Among the 24 reports of severe ADR , the number of male patients was slightly more than females , most aged over 60;7 cases (29.16%) were seriously ill, 17 cases (70.83%) were in hospital or prolonged hospital stays .Intravenous drip was the main administration route inducing severe ADR;the top 3 species of drugs inducing severe ADR were respectively antimicrobial drugs , antineoplastic drugs and vitamins , nutriceuticals; the severe ADR mainly involved skin and its accessories, secondly was digestive system and circulatory system .CONCLUSIONS:The severe ADR was multi-factor related, monitoring on clinical medication needs to be reinforced , related trainings on medical staff of ADR reporting are needed to ensure clinical rational medication .关键词
