耳内镜和显微镜下镫骨手术的比较
A Comparison of Endoscopic and Microscopic Stapes Surgeries

Abstract
Objective The aim of this study was to compare the effecacy and advantages between endoscopic and microscopic stapes surgeries. Methods Data from patients who received endoscopic (n=14) or microscopic (n=20) stapes surgeries in the past two years were analyzed. The surgery techniques, operation time, postoperative hearing im-provements and complications, as well as other aspects, were compared to demonstrate advantages and efficacy of en-doscopic stapes surgery. Results Postoperative air-bone gaps (ABGs) of were significantly lower than before opera-tion in both groups (P<0.05) with no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative complications between the two groups. The surgery time in microscopic surgeries was initially shorter than endoscopic surgeries (P<0.05), al-though there was no significant difference between the two groups in later cases (P> 0.05). Conclusions The advan-tages of endoscopic stapes surgeries are mainly in ossicular chain exploration and hearing reconstruction, providing better views, less trauma and faster recovery after surgery. Therefore, endoscopic stapes surgery deserves increased clinical application.关键词
