Abstract
Radical prostatectomy is the main treatment for localised prostate cancer.This operation involves three major concerns:post-prostatectomy oncology outcome,urinary incontinence and sexual impotence.There are three key time points in the development of radical prostatectomy,including initial propose of anatomic radical prostatectomy by Walsh PC in 1982,first completion of laparoscopic radical prostatectomy by Schuessler et al in 1992,and first report of robotic-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy (RALP) by Binder and Kramer in 2001.To introduce the current situation,advancement and perspectives of applying robotic-assisted laparoscopy in treating prostate cancer.关键词
