摘要

Abstract

The failure cause of the 42CrMo steel screw was analyzed by macroscopic and microscopic examination of fracture surface,metallographic examination,microhardness testing,and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).The results show that the reason of the serew breakage of the lifting rod is over-burning.Strict heat treatment processing should be carried out to ensure the mechanical properties of the screw.
