摘要

Abstract

The Ethernet passive optical network (EPON) technology is an important networking means to realize the power fiber to the home (PFTTH). The EPON technology has been widely used in the power fiber to the home, which provides services for user's traditional Internet services including voice, video and data traffic. Unlike the traditional application of EPON in fiber to the home, the PFTTH system needs to carry power service and Internet service. This paper describes the service requirements of the user in the PFTTH system and proposes the corresponding classification strategy for power service and Internet service. At the same time, according to the inherent flexibility issues of bandwidth allocation in traditional EPON system, we put forward a new software defined network ( SDN) based PFTTH system architecture. Combined with this architecture, we realize the dynamic bandwidth allocation strategy, which takes the power service primarily and the Internet service secondary. In this way, we can meet the user's business needs and improve the system's flexibility and management.
