摘要

Abstract

Resveratrol is a naturally occurring polyphenol compound in many kinds of plants. In the last few years, resveratrol has aroused widespread concern because of its diverse beneficial biological functions. Moreo-ver, there has been increasing concerns on the effects of resveratrol as a new type of feed additive in livestock and poultry production. This article summarized the antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-obesity effects of resveratrol, as well as the actual application status in livestock and poultry production so as to provide the refer-ence for resveratrol' s scientific application in livestock and poultry production.
