Abstract

The Dongji gold-silver deposit is found in the rhyolitic tuff in the western margin of the Mesozoic Dongkeng volcanic basin, and the min-ing area and the surrounding volcanic-sedimentary rocks have suffered from a wide range of hydrothermal alteration. This article uses the infrared reflec-tance spectroscopy in Dongji mining area in section three exploration to systemic high density drilling core sample analysis, the results show that alteration mineral assemblage and zoning of the big frame style mainly controlled by the original rock composition, performance for sericitization mainly in develop-ment in rhyolitic volcanics, and chloritization enrichment in andesitic mass and the qualitative volcanic rock. In smaller mining area within the scope of lo-cal space or a single lithology, the material conditions of the hydrothermal process as a secondary control factors determine a specific alteration mineral composition change and alteration type of intensity difference. From the combination of layered silicate, Dongji mining hydrothermal alteration sericitization and chloritization as the main types and lack of montmorillonite with well developed, gold-silver mineralization occurrence in the mainly illite sericitiza-tion, shows that the metallogenic environment belongs to low sulfur to sulfur epithermal between systems. Ore-bearing volcanic hydrothermal alteration, the combination and the strength and gold-silver of layered characteristics, indicate that ore-forming fluid is tuff layer inside to flow along the Nanyuan-Group, and alteration zoning details shown in tuff layer exists in two to three main fluid and gold-silver mineralization occurrence in the main. The hydro-thermal alteration of the main channel of fluid is a rich alumina sericite, and the contrast of the relatively poor aluminum sericite with the main channel is obvious in the infrared spectrum. Contoured using infrared spectrum technology, therefore, the overall spatial configuration, interpretation of hydrothermal alteration metallogenic physicochemical conditions and changes of the environment, and to determine the aluminum content of sericite change main ore-forming fluid was also used to determine position, can effectively reduce exploration targets and improve the predictive ore-prospecting work.
