摘要

Abstract

In order to check effect in improving carrying capacity of the landing section of submarine cable near to the off-shore wind power farm by changing its laying way from soil bury to full-water cable trench,this paper builds a mathematical model of 2D flow-heat coupled solution for the full-water cable trench. By using COMSOL Multiphysics to calculate carrying capacity of the submarine cable in one full-water cable trench,it obtains flow filed and temperature filed distribution,which verifies accuracy of the model. Because natural convection of water can effectively improve radiating conditions of the ca-ble,carrying capacity of the submarine cable laying in full-water cable trench way has improved by 43.8% compared with that of the submarine cable laying bury way. On the basis of this model,this paper also analyzes influence rules of different factors on carrying capacity of the submarine cable in full-water cable trench. It discovers carrying capacity of the submarine cable will increase with increase of height or width of the cable trench,but increase of width causes more significant im-provement of carrying capacity while changes of placing height of the cable has no influence on carrying capacity.
