掺杂La2O3对刚玉基复相陶瓷的烧结和力学性能的影响
Effect of La2O3 on the Sintering and Mechanical Properties of Corundum-based Composite Ceramics
摘要
Abstract
Corundum-based composite ceramics has become a research focus in structure ceramics for its excellent mechanical properties such as high hardness , high strength and good wear resistance , and has great application potential .La2O3 doped corundum-based composite ceramics were prepared by burying sintering with α-Al2O3, SiC and ZrO2 as starting materials.The effect of La2O3 addition on the microstructure and mechanic properties of the sintered samples were investigated using X-ray diffraction ( XRD) , scanning electron microscope et al .Experimental results show that the sintering temperature of the La2O3 doped composite ceramics is reduced to 1540 ℃.The bending strength and hardness of the doped composite ceramic is 183 MPa and 18.46 GPa.The addition of La2O3 inhibited the matrix grain growth, which promoted grain refinement and facilitated the densification of the sample , and its grain boundary strengthening is beneficial to the improvement of the strength of the composite ceramics .关键词
