Numerical Simulation of Flow in Precalciner under the Condition of Oxygen-Enriched Combustion

摘要

Abstract

Based on the previous experiment , the KDS precalciner of a cement plant was modified into oxygen-rich precalciner , and the gas-solid two-phase flow in the furnace was simulated by fluent software in the condition of 30% oxygen concentration .According to the velocity cloud , pressure cloud and CaCO3 decomposition rate, it shows that the flow field in the precalciner is consistent with the actual working condition and indicates that the result is reliable .The temperature cloud image is higher than the actual working condition , which indicates that the oxygen-enriched combustion can make the coal combustion in the precalciner more fully and improve combustion efficiency .The technology has a good prospect in the cement industry .
