Abstract
In this paper,on the basis of the sample data of 26 provincial capital cities from 2004 to 2013,study is conducted from the aspects of environmental health,ecological protection,resource and energy utilization,and environmental control A comprehensive city-level environmental performance index system is set up including four secondary indicators,twelve layer-3 indictors and twenty six layer-4 indictors.The study results show that the environmental performance of most cities varies significantly;with the east-located,mid-located and west-located cities obviously different.Therefore,it is considered in this paper that the environmental performance index system should be further optimized so as to fully reflect the regional difference.It is also necessary to enhance the environmental qualitv management level of cities by implementation of urban comprehensive environmental performance assessment.关键词
